It is northern limit of the Oga peninsula, and the lay Nyudo cape located on 40° north scenic area that can be looked about the Sea of Japan in commanding. A strange spectacle where landscape and sky view intersect dynamically to exceed is shown.
　This monument of 40° north aims at harmony with a wonderful spectacle in Oga, and is formed with the andesite produced from this peninsula.
